Mission

The Dixon Pentecostal Research Center collects, preserves, and makes available for research Church of God, Pentecostal, and Charismatic documents, records, and other media. As the official archives of the Church of God we advance the knowledge and use of the movement’s history and heritage through research, teaching, publications, and exhibitions.

Archival Holdings

Our archival holdings focus on records, correspondence, photographs, artwork, objects (realia), journals, scrapbooks, media, and ephemera related to the Church of God (Cleveland, Tenn.) and its people. These are primarily unpublished and artifactual materials. Use keywords, titles, names, or subjects to find relevant materials in our holdings or browse the Collections, Subjects, and Names tabs. Traditional finding aids, which give historical context and information on the collections, can be generated by clicking the print button in the top right on collection pages.

Library Holdings

We are also a specialized research library with books, media, and periodicals for which you can search in the online catalog shared with William G. Squires Library.
