The Ruth Lindsey Collection contains correspondence, missions newsletters, periodicals, diaries, textbook curriculum, school bulletins and ephemera, slides, and media.

This collection is valuable for research on missionary work in Brazil, women teachers in the 1960’s, Bible school curriculum, female missionaries, how correspondence connected missionaries to their supporters.

Scope and Contents From the Collection: This collection is named in honor of Max Morris, one of the most prominent figures in Church of God music ministries in the second half of the twentieth century. Morris donated approximately 650 record albums to the Dixon Pentecostal Research Center which formed the beginning of the collection. This collection consists of multiple biographies detailing Pearl and Edmond's lives, as well as artifacts such as Edmond's personal Bible, a general assembly ribbon, and a letter to Vonceil Smith. The bulk of the collection consists of Pearl Stark's will and life insurance policy, as well as many Angolan and Portuguese travel documents.
