Biography
"Walt, as he liked to be called, was a 1944 graduate of Shelburn High School. He was a member of the Terre Haute Church of God, the El Shaddai Emmaus Community of Illiana and Senior Seekers Bible Study Group. He was also a member of the International Society of Poets, having written poems about his home town of Shelburn and growing up with his Dad, who was crippled in one of the many coal mines in the area. Most of his poetry was biblical based."
