Abstract
This video highlights the expansion and construction projects accomplished by the Church of God in West Virginia and New River Ranch at the facility that opened in January of 1988 to serve as a residential facility for care and behavioral health services to children between the ages of 10 and 18 (at time of admittance). Within a broad scope of approaches, New River Ranch focuses on equine assisted therapy.
There is one picture that shows a man playing the trumpet. The trumpet player is Joe Lewis, the man who donated the New River Ranch property to the church, at the groundbreaking ceremony for the first new cottage. The other men pictured from left to right are John Nichols, B.J. Moffett and Wendell Smith (State Overseer at the time.)
