Note on other paper: The first Board of Elders or Supreme Council. Date 1917. Publishing House in background. The white House at extreme left is the home of Bro. Bryant, who was active in the organization of the Church of God in the beginning. From Left to Right front row--- T.S Payne, M.S Lemons,_____?, F. J. Lee, Sam C. Mrs. M.E. Huddleston (Mary Haynes) of Birmingham Alabama worked in the Publishing Co. as Type-setter when the building consisted only of the front part of this building. All type was set by hand. The Evangle was known then as "The White Winged Messenger".
