Scope and Contents
The Hal Bernard Dixon collection currently houses files, papers, and drawings regarding the purchase and potential development of the real estate at Barney Creek where R. G. Spurling first started the Christian Union, now the Church of God (Cleveland, Tenn.). One sub-series contains the contents of the intact, three-ring binders that were delivered to the Research Center and another sub-series includes the contents of the file folders and loose papers, which have been organized by the arranger.
