The Church of God sponsored summer courses for black constituents from 1959 to 1963. Classes held in Jacksonville, Florida, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, included singing, choir leadership, various books of the Bible, church doctrines, and youth leadership. In 1959 and 1960, they produced 45 RPM recordings with Delton Alford as director. This item refers to the 7" record album of the audio recording of the 1959 Jacksonville, Florida choir of "We Are Soldiers" and "Love Lifted Me" and a video of the digitized recordings paired with images for online streaming.
