This small collection contains sermons and materials used by Marshall Roberson during his decades of ministry in Tennessee churches and prisons. It also contains photographs and a news article about his marriage, as well as brief correspondence with Earl P. Paulk Jr.

Biographical / Historical

Marshall E. Roberson served almost seventy years as a Church of God minister. As a young minister attending North Cleveland Church of God, his marriage to Mary Francis Lacquey who grew up in the Church of God orphanage was the first church wedding for a resident. Reverend Roberson was the first Church of God prison chaplain and served on the Tennessee Pardon and Parole Board.
